Workshop Terms & Conditions

1. Workshop Variety

Drama Studio Scotland provides a range of performing arts workshops, encompassing acting for stage and screen, musical theatre, dance, and other related disciplines.

 

2. Fees and Payment

Workshop fees are determined on a per-session basis and are required to be paid in full in advance. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, payment link, or when available through our website using Stripe. Stripe is responsible for handling all personal data associated with transactions.

 

3. Cancellation Policy

A full refund is available for cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop date. A 50% refund is applicable for cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made after the 48-hour period. In the event of a workshop cancellation by Drama Studio Scotland, a full refund will be issued.

 

4. Application Process

Prospective participants are required to apply via email, providing relevant details about their training and experience. Additionally, a photograph or headshot is requested for internal use, aiding workshop tutors in participant identification and feedback processes.

 

5. Workshop Structure

The structure of each workshop may vary based on the intended learning outcomes. Participants must be aged 16 or older unless otherwise stated. Additional criteria, such as ability levels or specific prerequisites, may be communicated in workshop advertisements.

6. Liability and Insurance

Liability and insurance coverage for participants are provided by Equity or the venue hosting the workshop.

 

7. Data Collection

Drama Studio Scotland collects and securely stores participant names, emails, and experience details for the purpose of notifying individuals about future workshops. Participant information is not shared with third parties.

8. Workshop Changes

In the event of unforeseen circumstances necessitating last-minute changes to workshop details, including alterations to the advertised workshop leader, Drama Studio Scotland reserves the right to make modifications. Cancellations will be addressed on a case-by-case basis, with participants informed promptly. Up-to-date and accurate contact details are required from participants.

 

9. Photography and Media Consent

Participants acknowledge that photos and/or videos may be taken during the workshop for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes. By signing up for the workshop, participants grant Drama Studio Group the right to use these images in various media, including but not limited to the company's website, social media channels, and promotional materials. Participants who prefer not to have their images used are kindly requested to inform the workshop leader at the beginning of the session.

10. Conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. Drama Studio Scotland has a zero-tolerance policy for abusive behaviour, antisocial conduct, or attendance under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

 

11. Complaints and Feedback

Participants may submit complaints via email or in person, and all grievances will be handled swiftly and sensitively. A post-workshop anonymous feedback mechanism may be implemented to enhance service quality.

 

12. Health and Emergency Contact

Participants are encouraged to disclose any health or ability issues that may impact their participation. Emergency contact details are requested to ensure participant safety in case of unforeseen circumstances.
